Quickstart
Install the skills and ask your first question
Prerequisites
Four things need to be in place before you begin.
An active workspace with data at app.wellapp.ai
Your assistant reaches Well through the MCP server
Claude, Codex, Cursor, or another assistant that speaks MCP
The install command runs through npx
Install every skill
One command from skills.sh adds all 29 skills from the WellApp-ai/skills repository.
npx skills add wellapp-ai/skills- 1
Run the command
Run it in the terminal, from anywhere. - 2
Restart your assistant
Most clients pick up newly added skills on restart. - 3
Sign in when asked
The first skill that needs your data prompts you to authenticate with Well.
Ask your first question
Type the question the way you would say it out loud.
What's our runway?
Who owes us money, and since when?
Where does our money go?
The skill checks what your workspace has connected, pulls the numbers, and shows the working behind the answer.
Troubleshooting
The skill says something is missing
Every skill states what it needs before it answers. Connect the source it names, let it sync, then ask again. See every integration for what you can connect.
The assistant cannot read any Well data
Skills answer through Well MCP tools, so the connection has to work first. Run the MCP quickstart and confirm the client is authenticated.
A number looks wrong
Every answer names its sources and carries an as-of date. Compare that date with your last connector sync, since a skill can only be as current as the data behind it.
