How the skill answers

Every step of the run, in order, with the card each one returns. A step that hands its work to another skill says which one.

  1. You ask

Here's a screenshot of our old dashboard, can you rebuild it?

  2. Look at the attachment
  3. Name each measure the image shows, in plain words
  4. Hand the kept measures to compose-boardSkill usedcompose-board
  5. A file that is not a readable dashboard image
  6. No nameable measure
  7. You get

The measures your screenshot shows, matched to the feeds Well already draws, arranged the same way, and measured fresh. Nothing in the picture is stored: the numbers on your new board are Well's own.

Frequently asked questions

Does the board store the numbers I see in the photo?

No. The image tells this skill which measures to put on the board and roughly where. Every figure is measured fresh, the same way any other board measures its figures, so the numbers on screen are never the ones in your picture.

What if a measure in my photo has no equivalent in Well?

It is named once, in one line, and left off the board. Nothing is guessed onto a neighbouring feed, because that would draw the wrong number under the right label.

Can I send a hand-drawn sketch instead of a screenshot?

Yes, as long as it names at least one measure a person could recognise. A sketch with nothing nameable on it builds no board, and says so.

What happens if I attach a PDF or a spreadsheet instead of an image?

One line saying it is not a readable dashboard image, with an offer to start a board from a template instead.
