How Google Drive stays secure with Well
Google Drive has two connections, each with its own grant through the Google Drive API. The filing connection holds the per-file drive.file scope, so Well writes only to a folder it creates and cannot reach the rest of your Drive: Well files a processed document into that folder. The reading connection is still coming soon. It asks the read-only drive.readonly scope: Well reads the text of your Docs, Sheets and PDFs and the name and link of your other files, to find a document you ask for, and changes nothing in your Drive. Neither grant lets Well post entries to an accounting ledger.
